Is it Leonardo Da Vinci or George Plimpton? I have been told that my life spiritually is like a Leonardo Da Vinci. That the creativity I'm releasing is working its way into the culture like leaven into bread. That's a far cry from how I often feel or see myself. I lean towards being a George Plimpton who took the challenges set before him, but really doesn’t know what he's doing.

I've not been afraid, mostly. I've taken many of the opportunities placed before me. Crystal has often mentioned that we've not lived a boring life.

I'm not sure I know what it means to be a spiritual Leonardo Da Vinci. I've delved into various spiritual disciplines and I've not been afraid to take the adventures set before me. From these, my faith has risen, and my experiences have multiplied.

These quests across multiple genres of music, speaking, writing, advising, owning businesses to chasing the PGA Champions Tour have possibly been the fuel to this idea of being a Leonardo.

As Crystal and I have traversed the world, meeting and ministering in cultures diverse but wonderful, we have seen that God and his kingdom are at work and are not defined by ignorance or fear. There is love blooming like wildfire wherever we go. Yes, even here in our corner of the world.

I want you to enjoy, learn, be challenged, and step into a deeper relationship with Jesus. He's the reason I've taken advantage of so many excellent opportunities throughout my life.
